Scholarship Award for an Entering Freshmen at Alabama A&M University from Northern California seeking an academic degree within the College of Biological and Environmental Sciences or the College of Engineering, Technology and Physical Sciences.
2026 Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following initial requirements to receive consideration for an
Alabama A&M University - San Francisco Bay Area Alumni Chapter Scholarship:
1. Have a cumulative H.S. grade point average of 3.0 or above, or a proven financial need.
2. Must provide ACT or SAT scores in the application (incoming freshmen).
3. Accepted for enrollment at Alabama A&M University on a full-time basis by June 4, 2026.
2026 Documents Required
Below are documents required to apply for an Alabama A&M University -
San Francisco Bay Area Alumni Chapter Scholarship:
1. A minimum 1-2 page essay (Describe your future goals and how Alabama A&M University can help you achieve them)
2. A copy of an official acceptance of admission to Alabama A&M University (incoming freshmen)
3. A copy of your Fall Semester Course Schedule for Alabama A&M University
4. A copy of your Financial Aid Award Letter (cross out SSN and Date of Birth)
5. An official copy of your transcript of grades with high school letterhead. Signature Required
6. A copy of your ACT or SAT scores
7. At least three letters of recommendation. Signature Required
8. A digital photograph. A wallet sized photograph is acceptable
9. A valid email address
